Help Protect Michigan's Agricultural Lands and Natural Places

Picture
Historic Riverside Farm WAS destroyed by the State of Michigan and Ford Motor Company for the construction of their Blue Oval Battery Factory. The destruction of our cultural heritage, farmland (3,000 acres in the Marshall Megasite) and wildlife areas. All that remains in this photos is the 300 year old oak tree adjacent to the barn on the right.

Stop the Michigan Megasite! (Marshall Megasite)

Picture
The State of Michigan is proposing an 3,000 Mega Industrial Park on the edge of historic Marshall, Michigan, a quaint farming community located in South Central Lower Michigan.  The Michigan Megasite will destroy 1,700 acres of farmland, historic farmsteads, including Riverside Farm, the former home of Sweet Pea Gallery (the precursor to Cycling Salamander).

Please tell Governor Whitmer, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance that Industrial sites should be built on industrial areas! Not on Michigan's vital agricultural lands and natural places.
